Standard extensions are generally made with Chinese human hair which tends to be much more coarse and has much thicker strand diameters than most caucasian hair. You might consider an Indian Remy or even European hair as the strands are much more fine, especially when compared to Chinese hair.

European Remy Human Hair tends to be much more pricy than Indian Remy however you can get it in lighter colors that has not been processed  at all (virgin). If you have dark hair, your best bet would be a place that offers Indian Remy or Virgin Indian Remy.

Or at least something that's soft, silky, (to match my hair) and relatively unscathed chemically speaking?  I've bought conventional human hair before, and even the silky straight often feels rough/coarse next to my own hair  - which is not even baby fine, I guess it just naturally tends to be soft though, or at least softer than most extension hair. Can someone recommend a good and inexpensive supplier of hair with these qualities? Not super picky here, just want something that feels nice and doesn't break the bank. Thanks!!!

Jenn
