Again , great post Karen! Love getting the back stories.
This is especially good too, because it was soooo widely reported that she and Ken were no longer working together, for quite a few months now(since last fall actually).
 
He even commented on it publicly.

It's a wig.  Ken and Jessica reportedly did their annual HairDo photo shoot to promote latest looks and it's mostly likely from her wig collection.  Remember in 2007 when she showed up with red hair in a bob?  It was a way to get attention for her new Jessica Simpson wig line. 

So yes...it's a wig.  Which is either good or bad news...depending your preference for her hair.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

Yeah, there's just no part of this look at all that's appealing to me, especially the stringy, worn-out hair. Just one man's opinion.

I liked it too, but now notice that the short pictures show two different cuts in front, and you can see a few wisps of long hair hanging out the back.

I thought it looked like a wig also..but unlike the others, I don't think it looks that great - not that I ever thought she looked great anyway.

Definately 2 wigs. Front and side shots. Think the side look is great, but she would never do it. Just some "in-flight hair fun."

They do look like wigs but that side shot looks great on her. Front, not so much.

I hate to say it but I think it is just a wig. There were two short haired twitter pictures and the style were very different. I hope it is real. love the look

This is a lame attempt by a celebrity who has fallen off the deep end. Might be one of the last throws until she appears on a D-list reality show then fades out to nothingness.

This is incredible.  Would not have picked her as a short hair girl but it works.  This will be a big bump in attention/coverage for her.
