Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this.  I just want to try to make sure that it stays a ponytail by gluing the end.

I have a human hair ponytail that I would like to bond the end of it so that it stays a ponytail bundle. It is a light red hair about 11 inches long and being held together with a rubber band. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this, would hot glue work?
