I love Helena Christensen's haircut/style in the Bali ads.  I am getting my hair cut like hers in a couple of days and don't know how to describe the cut.  I've tried to describe it before, but it ended up being layered mostly on the top and sides and the bottom third is one length.  Like this, it seems very heavy (I have thick, wavy hair).
 
Any pointers on how to describe the cut to my stylist?
