I would use a Clarifying Shampoo. They help to take out some color.I had to do that recently,.My ends turned too dark,so I did what my friend that does hair told me to do.U can also get whoever loveed up the coloring & get them to do it for free. That's what we do here.

Well you might try washing your hair with Tide laundry detergent. It will wash out some of the color. Then condition, condition, condition.

Hi everyone!

Okay, so I'm having a hair emergency. Naturally, I'm a medium-to-dark blonde (pictured at right), but I've been highlighting my hair every few months since I was in middle school. I love having blonde hair, but also always wondered what I would look like as a redhead. So, yesterday, I finally took the plunge.

I went to my stylist, pictures in hand, and went red. Now I look like Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Witness:

So, here's my quandary: obviously, I cannot stay this color. It would be awesome on some people, but is completely not my aesthetic. It's way to intense for my coloring. I know it would be really hard to go back to my original color, but I'd like it to at least look natural. Does anyone know what sort of process I would need to go through to get it to at least a natural-looking strawberry blonde? I know people say red hair fades quickly, but I'm worried about it fading to pink, since it is such a vivid color.  I'd just really like it to look more Amy Adams than Disney Princess. Confused

I'm definitely going to go to a salon for any color-correcting needed, but if they won't be able to do anything for awhile, it would be good to know that ahead of time. If anyone has any advice or similar experiences to share, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
