Ive stored my old hair extensions (which I dont use anymore) in one of those cutesy boxes you get in stationery shops....looks like a fancy shoebox and is so cute. Im a bit of an organizational freak so Ive put then in individual packets with the dates and they look nice in my closet, labelled and all

The best way to store hair extensions is in an air tight container. The hair should be kept from drying out, and keep the moisture in. Ziplock bags work well, or anything that will stay reasonably air tight.
Of course you want to keep the hair out of direct sunlight as it will fade the color.
If you have leftover hair from a DIY install, what's the best way to store it so it doesn't get dry? Right nowI have it in a sealed, airtight plastic baggie. Good? Should I put a few drops of water in the baggie to keep the hair from getting dry? Any other tips?
