QuoteReplyTopic: What dye to use on eyebrows? Posted: June 28 2004 at 5:00am
if you people check the recent post here or in the colouring post you will find one girl who use swimming goggles when dyeing her hair, to prevent any mishaps from happening
hey xxXxx, You can use any kind of hair dye. I dye my hair blonde and my eyebrows are too dark for my tast so, I die the eyebrows as well, with the same dye. Just be careful and keep the dye away from your eyes. They put cautions because they don't want to be liable of you screw up and get it in your eyes. I promise your eyebrows won't fall off or anything. you just have to be extremely careful with any chemicals around your eyes.
I have dyed mine for years. I am blond and my brows are so light. I use to use just regular permanent dye, but several years ago I discovered "Just For Men" for beards and mustashes. I am such a girlie girl it is pretty funny to buy it!
It works great because it is a thicker gel (so it won't drip in your eyes) and it comes with a little tiny brush to brush the dye on your eyebrows. It even has a mixing tray--and it is resealable. So you squeeze out one line of the developer, one of the color, and mix together with the brush.
Wait for 5 mintues (it is super quick--it is designed for men who don't want to have goop on them for a half hour!) and then wipe it off with a wet papertowel.
You can seal the dye and developer back up (it comes with a cap so you can save the leftovers) and use it next time. One box lasts for a long time for me.
Good luck, Lisa

I have dark hair and light eyebrows and I want to darken them. I just don't know what kind of dye to use, can I just use semi-permanent or do I have to get a special kind? It won't make my brows fall out right? What brand?
I already know the risks involved as far as getting it in your eyes, but I can't really just use makeup to darken them because I am soooo active in sports, I don't have time to re-apply all the time and worry about it fading.
