Help with hair color disaster!

My hair is naturally a "dishwater blonde"... I died the bottom half red, and the top half platinum blonde - but after a few months decided to just get it all back to a nice light blonde... The red wouldn't come out of my hair (using bleach at a salon) and it turned orange!  To tone down the orange the stylist put a level 7 blonde as she called it all over.  Now the underneath part is sort of a strawberry blonde, and the top that was platinum is very ashey blonde.  How can I get my hair all down to a nice light blonde, the same color all over??  If I use bleach again is that orange going to come back out??
