Keratin Based Glues?

I have been researching different glues and originally heard a lot of good reviews about Keratin based glues since they are supposed to be the most natural for your hair?  Is that really true?
 
Lately I have found some mixed reviews.  So now I am not sure. 
 
Is Keratin the best bet for glues for bonding?

Also, are there any types of shampoos/conditioners to use with the Keratin that produce best results?
 
Do you need to use Sulfate Free?
 
Is there one shampoo on the market that works best on all types of glues?  Help please.
