Better blonde but the dark might not look so bad if her hair wasn't such a mess!

Not only does she need a good haircut but now she ruined her hair color.  It looks really, really bad

Yes...it looks awful.  She is meant to be blonde. 
 
Below is one of my fav photos of her as blonde before going brunette.   Also, she is naturally curly which is more fragile and more prone to fried ends when dyed.  So that explains how badly her hair looks as a brunette.
