i think u can get the mango butter at some but not all beauty supply stores. also check out walgreens and cvs. you can try the neutrogena triple moisture line. i use the shampoo and hair mask. i also use nexxus. why do you want to switch?
I was looking for that Elasta QP mango butter stuff. I couldn't find it. What shampoo and stuff do you use Renee? I am about to switch from Nexxus and need to know what is good and what everyone reccomends.

leave it naturally wavy. use an anti frizz serum to you hair to kepp it frizz free. then use a high quality pomade and just aplly to your hair, let it fall naturally.

i suggest you use the hair iron for special occasions instead of everyday style. drink lots of water, eat welll and exercise for better hair. maybe its your natural hair texture.
i would suggest aussie moist shampoo and aussie 3 minute miracle or aussie knot forgotten as conditioners. You can condition wash daily with the 3mm or knot forgotten(that's what i do). Another good shampoo/ conditioner combo is joico's biojoba shampoo and joico's altima conditioner. You should also use elasta qp mango butter or profectiv daily leave-in strengther as moisturizers. Oil your hair/scalp 1 to 2 times weekly with olive oil as well.
i hope this helps.

I suggest you get some jojoba and work a drop or two into your hair after you shower, or more often if necessary. This should start to eliminate the dryness you experience, so long as you keep conditioning each time you wash.
But the other issue is that you are looking to eliminate wiriness by finding the right conditioner. Unfortunately, this is the natural texture of your hair, not a result of improper conditioning. You're going to have to learn to live with your hair in order to set realistic goals and achieve reasonable results.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Hi, I''m a 19 year old guy who isn't particularly vain or anything, but my hair will not be ignored. I am half hispanic and half Italian, and my hair strands are very very thick, course, wavy and DRY. I have tried SEVERAL different products, including Paves Flawless Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Deep Conditioner, Rusk Calm Shampoo and 60 Second Guarana Conditioner, but most surprisingly, Aveda Curessence Shampoo and Conditioner, all of which didn''t work. After hearing rave reviews about Curessence, I was greatly dissapointed. I've given it several weeks, and I am careful not to wash my hair too often. My hair still remained dry, parched, and wiry, especially after just washing and conditioning. I don't ever blow dry, always towel dry, but I do, every other day, sometimes only every 3 days, flat iron my short hair because it's so puffy and wiry, but I try nourishing it with Rusk Leave in Conditioner Spray/Detangler and/or Biosilk.
As you can see, I have tried a lot of professional products. I am at my wit''s end. Is there anything out there that can save my hair?
