i like the ideal that i have the length of hair that's versatile (some times), but it's virgin. I am a 1/2 and 1/2 culture with fine hair with a bit of a natural body wave. i washed it this morning, and thought i'd go the style that Halle Berry is wearing - gawd she's gorgeous...or Whitney. Thus, after washing and conditioning, used a gel straightner by Paul Mitchell, Nexxus Headdress (volumizer to make my hair look thicker), and freeze and shine for holding power.

I blow dried, and used a hot iron on it...and wow..it looked wonderful..of course, neither Whitney, nor Halle has to worry about the competition...they would forever have me beat - hands down.

I went to go work out, thinking i was Miss It...and came back into the locker room after aerobics...

I looked like a witch shot out of canon...I like my hair to have a polished look. but i wonder how celebrities run around on the movie sets, or the dancers, sweat and their hair is straight and smooth..i don't really care for the straight, but i'd like a smooth, nonfrizzy, polished style.

any suggestions? will i have to perm? i tried that before, my hair can't take it for long.

thanks
