im not really familiar with the allsoft line--but if it has any type of protein in it, you definantly dont want to leave it on for an extended period of time. Protein is to restrengthen damaged hair, but if left on too long--it can make it dryed out and not exactly "all that soft" like they say. If it doesnt have protein then id say it would be ok. I do know that the Redken Buttertreat can be left on all night though.

Does anyone know what will happen if you leave in a conditioner (i.e. redken all soft) for a day? will your hair dry up or....fall out...?

Thanks
