The second option seems like it might have less potential for damage. Especially if your hair is dyed dark, getting it all really light would be more trouble, I think.

I am a male with strw blond hair I hate it. I tried going dark and dont look good. want to go blond but dont know which direction.
My stylist gave me 2 choices and this is where you come in.

1. go light blond with darker low lights
2. go med blond with light high lights

Not sure which one would have better effects.
Please help me and send me pictures that would help me out. Thanks in advance.
