Good luck! I've had some stunning successes and some shocking disasters cutting my own hair. Take your time and be aware that things can go wrong quickly.

I think HAWG has the best option...if you can't or don't want to go to a stylist...then I would get someone (with some talent) to cut it for you.

There are some strands that are almost three inches long, I think, and it's more than just layered; it's very piecey.  If you want it shorter in the back, your clippers will surely do that.  I don't think I'd try it the first time; I'd take the picture to the salon and let them do it and then you should be able to maintain it after that.  Good luck!

I have scissors, and clippers for one quarter, one inch, and a half inch settings.

How long is the hair on top?
