However I sure wouldn't mind having their hair. Or looks. Or money.
actally i think you look like the youngest sister on ''party of five'' she got really pretty all grown up! lyris do you any hair spray to keep the top of your hair smooth when you put the ponytail on?
Oh yeah, I use a LOT of hairspray and a little Aussie Hair Insurance to keep it smooth.
LiliBeach, glad to see you're posting again! I hope you get your PC fixed soon

Enfys, I have put up with some flak, but not so much lately. I think people have given up trying to bring me back to the flock. One woman did try to tell me recently that I'd look more fashionable with short hair. More fashionable? Like I care about being fashionable? LOL!

I have alot of hair pieces I wear on occasion. No one ever guesses that they are not real but of course, I am a hairdresser, they are not suprised to find out they are not real.
I have ponytails, clip-on hair, scrunchies, you name it I have it, and I LOVE wearing them!!!
Funny Story; I was out shopping on day with my largest pony tail on and it was getting alittle heavy. (its one that has a claw clamp) While I was driving, I took it off and layed it on the passenger seat next to me. Little did I know my son left a half eaten sucker-pop on the seat and you guessed it, it stuck to my ponytail. I put it back on to go into the store, Sucker intact and all. In Fact, I went to about 3 stores before I spotted a friend and she pointed it out.......Talk about a RED face!!!
I am a professional Hairstylist/Haircolorist with 19 years experience. I have traveled all over the country for my advanced education. I am also a salon owner.:)........and I LOVE Redken!!!

Thank you for the welcome Dave. My hair is currently 32" long, but I want to grow it as long as I can handle once I leave school and it's more practical than it is now. I think also think it's great that you have such long hair for a guy as you probably had to put with a lot of flak for it. Keep up the good work, all. I love reading your messages.Right, that's enough sucking up (joke!).
I don't see a problem with people wearing the hairpieces if they want to. A girl in my class has shoulder length hair, and sometimes wears a waist length hairpiece that, to an outsider, would look 100% real. It must be uncomfortable, though, because she has never worn it for a full day. Her ponytail rarely lasts past breaktime, let alone lunch. I'm just glad I have no need to fake it!
Yeah I agree. You look GAW-ge-US sistah! Dare I say you almost look like one of the Olsen twins?? That's a compliment. They're pretty! They can't act... but they're pretty!

Aww thanks Uzma. I get bored easily and have to change things frequently. I wish I could say my hair is that long already, but alas, that is an old picture. However I estimate my hair should be about that length by the end of 2003. A happy new year it will be! :-)

No thanks, I don´t take pride in pointing and laughing at anybody/anything. Actually I own few hairpieces myself and use them underneath my buns or create hairdos of them. Mine look natural and you can´t tell the difference. But I do have some goth- friends who occasionally use bright red and blue extentions and hairpieces. They do not look natural and that´s just as fine too.
i used to wear purple clip on extensions but then i just got bored putting them on in the mornings and gave up. when i got my hair cut WAY to short by some idiot, I used to ear a clip on pony but it was heavy and sorta fake looking. because my hair was healthy and shiney but the pony was synthetic and SUPER fake looking shiney and yeah.
as of now i just wear my own hair.
BSL/Blonde/Chemically Treated (abused) 1b/cMii I swear by Redken Extreme and Shea Butter.
Haha! No actually I was caught in the middle of one of those devilish muh-wa-ha-ha laughs. It's very comfortable and very light for something that's 17 inches long. The key is anchoring it with enough bobby pins. (Which of course means that I'll never be able to wear it in the airport...can you imagine having to remove your hair in front of everyone?!?)

The kind I've got looks and feels completely natural and yes, it does resist inquisitive yanks and pulls. I didn't feel fatigued wearing it either. Again, the key was removing the claw attachment and using the drawstring pull around my bun. The next time I wear it I'll post a pic. :-)
btw, it was a Revlon TresAllure hairpiece. I believe the style was "Seduce," and I got it at Trade Secret. I've seen it online as well.
Yeah, it's sort of like one of those gift baskets that has one of those display inserts. It's disappointing to think you don't have as much there as you'd like or as someone else expected.
