She's not 26 and starring on TV as Lois Lane anymore. She looks like she is trying too hard to look young...
The hair doesn't really do anything for her...should be either longer or shorter

I've gone through that very process myself several times. I think I've finally learned my lesson. Let's hope Teri has, too.

I kinda see this as the same thing Katie Couric did.  Had a short cut they remembered fondly and that looked good at the time.  Decided to go short again only to realize that it wasn't as flattering this time (due to bad styling, age, whatever) and that their longer hair actually looked better than they thought. 
 
And thus, the growth process begins...
3 pm is simultaneously too late and too early to start anything.

I'm not too sure about this; I saw an interview with her saying she was a short haired girl trapped in a long haired girl's body while she was on Desperate Housewives
