I'm not sure if this is the right place either, but ombre has to be the most overrated color of the 21st century. Whenever I see it -- and I see it too often -- I always think a gal dyed her hair and has been growing it out for awhile. She's too lazy or cheap to pay to have it dye it the same color. Roots are the worst.

i want to do an ombre colour, my ends are pretty similar to jessica beils ombre and the top of hers is close enough to to my natural hair colour.
what should i be asking for at sallys? what numbers? i think her ends are a 9g if im doing this right....
