I'm more partial to short buzz cuts. I think it is just personal preference. If you have a lady in your life just go with her preference and you can't go wrong.

I am a male in my mid 30's. My hair is not really thinning, though the hairline is beginning to recede somewhat. The problem is that each bone-straight hair seems to be on its own cowlick. It looks awful unless it's very long or very short, and for professional reasons I can't really go very long.

So I've decided to part ways with most of my hair - I don't like it, it doesn't like me. My question for women on this list - do women who prefer such things prefer short buzzcuts or flat-out shaved heads on guys? (I'm "between relationships") right now, so I don't have anyone who could veto any decision I might make.)
