Is her character on Big Bang suppose to be like she doesn't care what she looks like?  Granted, only seen parts of it couple times, but her hair always looks nasty on the show

Well, it's above the shoulders. It does seem like her hair has kind of stayed around the same length on Big Bang this year. Looks ok but would probably look better a bit longer.

The message board on the site is in agreement that it isn't Kaley. Obviously time will tell on the hair but I'm pretty sure it isn't her.

Yeah that isn't Kaley in that latest pixie photos. The girl vaguely looks like her but not really. I think Kaley is growing her hair out and I think she might go longer than 'above the shoulders'. Time will tell....

I think I read somewhere that she's planning on keeping it as an above-the-shoulders bob.

Based on the current season of The Big Bang Theory, I'm bummed that she seems to have let it become just as flat, boring and unflattering at bob length as it had become when it was long and pre-pixie a couple of seasons ago. That to me was one of the great attributes of her pixie cut -- it had a definite, intentional (and I thought) very flattering style that I think has again been lost. Regardless of length, I'd just like to see it look good again.
