Interestingly, if you check out her concert or public appearances, she wears extensions to get it back to her more signature extra long style. My guess is that she personally prefers it shorter, but recognizes that her "look" is part of the "Alanis" persona and wisely tries to maintain that (illusion or not).
Sadly, her manufactured length really is more flattering. Actually, given her face shape, anything below her shoulders is more flattering.
3 pm is simultaneously too late and too early to start anything.

Ok why cut it? I do not get it. If you going to use fake hair why not keep your long hair long. Ahhh.

Alanis performs tonight on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show on NBC. Interesting that she didn't display her actual goofy hairstyle during the taping but had it longer. She's promoting her latest album.
Not too long ago, Alanis described her decision to chop off the most dazzling locks in the music business at the height of her career a "mistake". That doesn't leave much room to describe this dreadful cut. If I didn't know better, I'd think that someone gave her this butcher job as a punishment. Some kickoff for her 20 year anniversary of JLP tour!

Don't click the link Kramer, looks like she cut it herself. Go pull out your copy of "Jagged Little Pill" and stare at the cover. You can spare yourself the pain...
