I say go for it.  You have prettier features than Anne Hathaway in my opinion.  Show those features off and do something crazy - you only live once.

Basically what it says in the title, through my own craziness and some nudging from friends and whatnot, I've talked myself into parting with my long hair. 

I really like the idea of doing something shocking and new and basically, here's what I had in mind to take to the hairdresser's and cross my fingers:
