Hi Simone,Thank you for sharing from your heart what you feel. I agree that even if we have different opinions regarding issues such as hair length, clothing styles, etc. we should still respect and accept others.I must be honest that I have sometimes struggled with some of the unusual body piercings that are seen today. But most importantly I feel that you should have the right to do what you want. It doesn't hurt someone else and if that is important to you than it is fine with me. I respect you for your right to be yourself!Although I always have tried to accept others for themselves I have learned a lot more respect as I have grown my hair longer. Maybe if my hair grows to the floor :-) I will have all the respect I need, before that there is still much more for me to learn. Never have had the guts to do that. Got my ears pierced about 4 years ago. That was dramatic for me:) Know about the army boots, anyway.
