I totally agree with your definition of bang lengths. My favorite bang length is 1/4" above the eyebrows to just touching the eyebrows.

2 questions:

How would you define bang length?

I think long bangs are any that touch your eyebrows down to the eyes. If it has to be pushed to the side or tucked behind ears then I consider them layers and not bangs. Short bangs are from just above the eyebrows to about an inch above the eyebrows. Super short bangs are any thing greater than 1" above the eyebrows.

What is your favorite bang length?

Mine is 1/2' to 1" above the eyebrows.

Of course it does matter on the type of hairstyle but in general
