When I was a kid in New England, a buzzcut was called a whiffle. I guess it was a crew cut/ buzz cut
combo - I just know it struck fear in a boy when his dad said, " give em a whiffle ". Is that a dated term, or a New ENgland term? Has anyone else heard of it?
