hmm sounds like you have limp fine hair
wearing a hat wont damaged it. it protects it from the elements. Other than Sally's you can go to a salon and try to find volumizing product. Better even stick around here to find people who can recomend you a product that they use to treat their find and limp hair.

There are many products forumulated for hair that would work so much better than mayonnaise. Go to Sally's, a salon, or store that sells hair products and ask them for a recommendation. Sally's sells a product called Cholesterol that I have used before and it works without making the hair too limp. You may have to try a few different products before you get exactly what you want.

I have very very fine thin hair, and my problem is that when i wash it I cant do anything with it for like 2-3 days afterwards which is not good. As a result, I end up wearing a lot of hats which i think has also damaged my hair. In addition, my hair seems to be extrememly dry and brittle, i mean someitmes its ok and other times its like hay. I was wondering if there is anything that I can do to correct my hair problems and make it more healthy. I have heard that putting mayonaise on your hair for like an hour or 2 is good for it? I feel kind of wierd about this because im a guy but if it works i suppose nobody will know but me. Anyways, is this true and if so what kind of mayo just any old kind.?? Like i know they have all different kinds of mayo these days. LOL any help would be greately appreciated.
