Something aint right

i let my hair grow for like a month n a half,then i got waves,but i hate when my hair is that long,so i got the 1 n half and it cut all the waves off.

that was before the kit.i had got my haircut to a 1 n half then started all over,then every1 kept talkin bout kits sooo bad and****up ya head but every1 sayn that the niggas wit the nicest waves usn kits.so i did the brushin vs kit experiment

what u do is
first find a good brush
take it to the top of a tall building
jump and brush your hair in the air
one you hit the concrete and your blood splatter your waves will be spinnin

What up yall. I been in the wave game four about 4 weeks now. And I got waves all on the sides of my head and all over the back of my hair. But I barely have em on da top of my head. What should I do and what am I doing wrong. Heres my rountine

1.Wash hair
2.While hair still wet i put some lets jam and pink oil moisturizer in then i put some sportin waves in gold can
3.Brush hair
4.Put du-rag on
5.Brush hair throughout the day
6.Put du-rag on while sleep
I been doing this every day for 4 weeks and I still cant get waves on the top. Holla back 1.
