Hi Vineman,

It won't stop the growth, but it will damage the dyed part of the strands. As it grows, you'll have to decide what to do -- color the new growth, wear two-toned, or chop. But since it's something you've always wanted to do, then you might as well go for it.

As my hair gets continually bigger again it seems to finally be getting longer, it's almost down to my shoulders (little shorter at the front though).

The thing is, I said once my hair grew out enough I'd bleach it blonde. I know some of you maycringe, but it's something I've always wanted to do; my hair is very tough and thick so it should take it. But I'd rather not damage it too much as it might stop the growth; I'd like to get it to the midle of my back, but that's a lot of hair to bleach.
