Yeh just get a trim round the back, i had the exact same problem so i got my mum to do it for me! She only cut the hair at the very bottom section allowing the parts from the top at the back to catch up as well; as for the sides, just tuck em behind your ears and let the hair from teh top of the head hide over

I am sure this is common with people growing hair, but I do not know how to deal with this without messing up the growing out process.

The thing is, I am getting mullet (it's just growing like that naturally with the way my hair is cut) and I want to have a friend (I don't trust salons) to trim the back so the front gets a change to catch up.

I am afraid that I would look strange for a couple of weeks. How did any of you deal with this? Do I cut the sides too? Do I get layers? Blunt cut?

This is what I get for casually cutting off my split ends in the past.
