Use Dirty Trix, by Matrix to achieve the separated chunky look in conjunction with Tuf Trix by Matrix to achieve volume. A straightner would help too, and long hair, the Dirty Trix controls massive shine and gives it a good natural look try it. Or go to the Matrix website and look up Dirty Trix it tells you on there.

that is a great style for asian hair. you can just take this pic to the salon and they will know what cut is suitable. you can also ask them to style it like that. it will involve a lot of blow dry, str8ning iron, and hair products. jusk ask them. a reputable salon will teach you how to style your hair in return that you come back to them.
I have the generic asian hair that grows out, instead of down. I'd like to get something like this, just not as long. Currently, my hair goes down to my eyes almost, and covers my ears. But it becomes insanely puffy. After sports or anything, it'll become ridiculously puffy. Also after shampooing it does the same. VERY VERY Puffy. I don't know what to do with it.. Mousse and Gel don't do anything and it remains puffy. Like a mushroom.
I'm thinking about just getting it cut short.
Would it be good to get the sides cut short, but to keep longish bangs and longish top? It's only the sides that become ridiculously mushroomy.
But anyways, for the picture, what type of products would one have to use? I'm not sure I'd be able to do iit with my puffy hair..
