Get a microfiber super-absorbent towel. I don't know any brands, because mine doesn't have a brand. Sometimes hair goes weird while drying because it dries unevenly. Best thing is to quicken the drying process. I use a supertowel, wet comb, and get a lot less wave and frizz this way.

For more info, you can click on my Medusa link and go to "Cleansing Methods" or "Grooming Methods".

claribuzz...I know blow-drying doesn't help hair a lot, but the problem is that if I don't (ie if I let it air dry), my hair seriously does whatever it wants. It goes nuts on me. My hair is naturally a little wavy, and letting it air-dry accentuates that, so i get hair waving and flicking out all over the place and it looks messy. The only way to straighten and neaten it out nicely is by blow-drying. I would love a more hair-friendly alternative if anyone has any....

quit blowdrying your hair to often
blow drying dries your hair out if you use it everyday

those looks you see on comercial happen because they touch it up with a PC and then the stylist really fried the model hair. but since they dont do it everday the hair is not as damaged as it should be.

You can go to a salon and get a hair treament done. it really makes your hair soft.

Ok, I have medium-long hair (getting near the bottom of my face....around my neck at the back) and I''m wondering what the best stuff out there is to get hair really soft and silky. I know it''s mostly about the conditioner, and I often try to condition the hell out of my hair, but after blow-drying and styling, my hair always ends up a little more dead than I''d like. I see all these people on commercials and some in real life with that really floppy, silky, hydrated look. Mine is soft enough I guess, but it''s not nice and floppy and silky like these people I see. What would you recommend as good shampoo/conditioner combos? or post-wash silkening products, etc.....

right now I''m just using finesse shampoo and conditioner, and Alberto "smooth and glisten pomade" when styling/drying (it makes the hair a bit smoother after drying), but I''m not completely satisfied...

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
