Hi Laura, Im sorry to say that after just a few days of stopping the capilong, my extra thickness went away.I was afraid of that. I definitly would not recommend this product to anyone. It is just another product that promises "miracles" that just dont happen! Save your money! Lisa

> Lisa,> Cant you get your money back i thought i read on there> that you could? You can get your money back but there is a catch(not surprising!) The 2 bottles you get are different. One is the regular Capilong, and the other is called a lotion. In order for the Capilong to work to its full potential you need to use the second bottle, and of course you cant get your $ back if you use the second bottle! The lotion did not do anything either. LisaI respectfully disagree with Lisa's assessment. I have used Capilong now for three weeks and I, too, have experienced thicker hair. However, like all other vitamins we take, the benefits will continue only as long we take them. That is why vitamins are often described as "one a day." The same with Capilong. It consists of vitamins and other nutrients for the hair. Stop using it and the effects will go away. I agree, though, that the advertisment is way over stated, however, it does work. It puts a colosal amount of nutrients directly to the source of the hair root. "One a day" vitamins take longer to do the same job because the body uses them for other reasons, too. Laura, you need to decide if you want to make this a part of you daily regime, if you do, you will continue to see results. Hope this helps. Brenda

BrendaBut if you use the Capilong on a daily basis ,you have to be willing to pay $20 every 3 weeks to keep up the thickness.Could a $3 bottle of gel give you the same results?Brenda, Just out of curiousity, have you had any hair growth? Thanks Lisa

Thanks LisaI agree, very expensive! Like you I have experienced thickness, but no hair growth. However, I have found one other product, Growth Factor 5. The customer service folks say it works great. The ad does not give exaggerated benefits like Capilong, and this one seems to substantiate its claims better. The number is 1-800-827-4661. It's worth a try. I also like the idea of applying and rinsing before you shampoo. A one month supply is $19.95.Brenda

I have a hair obssesion, I must admit! I try all kinds of stuff for my hair. I'm 29 and my hair just doesn't grow out of my head like it did 10 years ago so I try about everything I see that looks good. I have a lot of crap! I'm afraid that the only real answer is good nutrition, and taking care of the hair you have. Of all the crap i have gotten, the products I'm most happy with are:Golden nugget Professional Six-Way Conditioner which I got at Petsmart--it is a leave in conditioner for horses.Jheri Redding, Shine Shampoo with vitamin C, Professional Prescription Tea Tree Deep Cleanse Shampoo and conditioner, and Biotin leave-in treatmentbasic texture get shine from back to BasicsResque Alcohol Free hair sprayamplify Root Lifter by MatrixI also stopped heat-curling my hair so i'm sure that is part of it, but i used to get split ends really bad, and I couldn't get my hair past my shoulders, but now I don't have any split ends, and it doesn't break off--I used to get a shower of broken bits on my shoulders when I brushed my hair. Now people actually comment on how healthy my hair looks--a year ago it was "What did you do to your hair?!", it looked and felt dead.Any products anyone wants to share the 411 on?

I Agree!!! I used Capilong for 1 month and my hair growth didn't change one bit! I didn't see any difference in my hair at all. Now I'm out $20 bucks.

> I see the best way to get healthy long hair is> vitamins i guess....These people sure make the money> dont they one person said their hair grew with this> stuff that i saw :-)Listen carefully, beauty is a regimen that pays off exactly what you put into it. I take vitamins occasionally, and have used capilong, phase (1) for three and a half months. I am African-American, which I perceive to be the most difficult hair to grow. Hair has cycles of growth, depending on genetics and diet. Take your guess as to which one you can control; and find a product that can maintain the hair you grow according to your growth cycle. For me, it's Capilong. My relaxer and hair color was not effected; the color is still fabulous after 4 weeks; I have just placed my second order for Capilong. Endurance pays off more than great expectations and impatience. But you decide.

I'm afraid of losing the hair I have by trying capilong. I must agree that anything you use has to be continuous to get good results. I just want growth, has anyone tried growth factor 5? Or has anyones hair grown much from the Capilong?

I am glad it has worked for you, I wish it had for me.But since I started taking vitimins my hair growth has really increased. Lisa =)
