A friend of mine has fairly straight black hair almost down to her knees.

Thing is, she wants to dye it! She was thinking of light brown, but I showed her a photomanipped one of purple and now she wants that.

How can you bleach and dye that much hair? It doesn't look very thick though.

Maybe if she just got streaks?

It is very beautiful indeed, I'd rather she keep it black and maybe just streak it at most. It would look gorgeous with purple or red streaks going through it.

It might be longer now though. Keep in mind she's a bit on the short side though.

well..............its her hair and she can do whatever she wants........
but...........................
it a shame to see knee length hair gets damaged like that. it is so long, so old, the hair.
streaks or extensions of the purple hue is safer.
