Hey. Im a 15/male. I have dark brown hair, and Im getting sick of it. I was thinking of dying it a Medium blonde. I was thinking of buying Clairol Natural Instincts for Men M3-Medium Blonde hair dye. Now, I was wondering, should I dye it myself, or go to a hair place and have them dye it. What should I do? I also heard that since I have real dark brown hair, that if I would dye it the medium blonde, my hair would turn orange! Is that true?! Please help me on this!!

well i guess best thing to do is go to a hair salon cause they can have better control then u would on the dying process...well it wont turn orange if u left it long enough , it only turn orange when u remove the dying cream out of ur head before u suppose 2.....had u ever thought of caramel highlights in ur hair instead of dying all of it well cause when u dye ur whole hair u would need retouch well girls usually cope with this but i m not sure if men does 2 ...anyway goodluck

Natural Instincts won't lighten your hair, sorry. It's "deposit only" color (semi-permanent).

Dark brunettes who want to lighten their hair are best off at the salon. The process isn't an easy one and is best left to the professionals, unless you want orange hair.

Good luck.
