Sure it's possible! You're practically there if you're such a light blonde already. Just ask the salon if they can use a blonde dye with a violet base to highlight it. Of course, be specific and say to them that you want white blonde highlights, so they don't get confused and think you're saying you want purple highlights! Violet counteracts yellow and your color should come out more white.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there can relate to my little problem which is as follows: I have naturally light blonde hair, which is mostly a pale ash with a few light golden strands here and there. I have highlighted my hair on a number of occassions in the past in hopes of acheiving platinum highlights. In spite of the fact that I went to entirely different salons, each time my hair has turned out a golden blonde color that provided no contrast whatsoever with my skin tone. Has anybody experienced this problem, and if so, how have you dealt with it? Could it be due to brassiness? I'm beginning to think that going platinum is not possible for me!
