I have always loved blonde hair. I had my hair blonde for a while and then decided to go darker for the fall, and now I am not sure if I want to stay dark. I miss my blondeness. :*( Alot of people keep asking me when I will be going blonde again, saying that they like me better blonde, while others say I look better brunette. What do you think?
I sing professionally and have a website for it, there are tons of photos of my different blonde looks through the years.
the website is www.amy-m.com
If you have any ideas on a certain shade of blonde or brown I should go please tell me. I need all the help I can get.
I like the style form you dark hair pic and the color from the blonde pic. I you wnat somehting a little diff from what you 've had maybe a light dirty blonde with very blonde hightlights. You are very pretty... looks great either way
Some people will always tell you they like you better one way or another because some people prefer dark and some people prefer blonde, when they say that to you it is likely just their personal preferences reflecting. You look great no matter what color you have, go for what YOU like best!

I think you'd look great with almost any hair colour. With your skin tone you can wear your hair dark or light. I find that dark hair often looks more striking and draws attention to the eyes. You have lovely, large eyes, though -- I don't think you need dark hair to emphasize them. What do you like best? My personal bias is towards blonde (because I just went blonde for the first time and am loving it); I really like a dimensional look with some subtle variations in shade. It's up to you though -- do what makes you feel happiest.
P.S. Have you ever uploaded your photo in the Try It On Studio at www.clairol.com? It's a fun way to try out different hair colours and cuts. I used it to help me choose the colour that (in my opinion) works best for me.
By the way, your website looks great -- very professional. Congratulations on your success.
My user name is WAY too long. Just call me Juliana. :-)
Thank you. I really love blonde hair. But I want to have it look natural. My natural hair color is very dark. I think I look best in cool tones. So mayeb something like this shade of blonde? Its dark, but its still blonde. The only thing is, now that my hair has semi permanent dark brown color on it, how do I get my base color to be the light brown hers is in this pic? And won't the bleach make my hair break since my hair was already bleached before I colored it dark?
How can I lighten up without getting a brassy hue and steering clear of major damage?

Blonde. Or, red :) You're quite pretty with cute hair.
As for natural, unfortunately, you don't have the kind of skin-tone that gets natural hair. It would be quite low in contrast and look rather dull.
Go for fairly light golden blonde, but with natural-ish highlights. The colour you had before was amazing, but it might look a little better lighter :)
Either way it's not going to look "natural" though.
This is my signature. It's not a very good signature, but it's a signature nonetheless.

If you're going to keep your hair short, I'd wait until it grows out before going light again. Getting your hair as blonde as it was in the first pic is very drying, and dyeing again to get it dark just added more chemicals. It won't take long for a short do like that last pic to grow out to your natural color, then you can go blonde again without the danger of it looking very dried out.

Thank you for your ideas. I ended up buying a pony tail extension peice at Sally's to wear for now while I let my hair grow out so I can highlight it when it is all virgin hair. That way I won;t have to worry about the double processing damage.
Here is a pic with the clip on hair. I think it makes the color look richer, because there is more hair for the color to show. I think it looks pretty real. What do you think? It is synthetic hair, does that mean I can't curl it? I blow dried it and it didn't melt or anything.

With your small framed face, I like you hair better shorter. I also like it better brunette. I think it would look adorable with highlights, maybe golden highlights. Just thought I'd give my 2 cents!
you look beautiful in both shades. i like to point out you have very beutiful eyes. its very japanese amine like. People in japan would pay thousands sio that they could enlarged their eyes to look like yours :)
Generally, the blonde is better but you need more contrast. Get some highlights and lowlights-otherwise, the blonde will wash you out. Have you ever considered going short -pixie? You have small, delicate, pretty features.
