I am contemplating on going back to my natural color...I've been blonde for years now, but lately I am just tried of looking brassy, which I am afraid is making me look older. So I though going back to a richer color might look better. I love Redken Shades EQ but I know the biggest problem is getting the color to stick after being bleached, so then it fades FAST and looks drab and ugly. I know in cosmetology school we were taught to use a filler first because it will help the color to stick better, and most fillers are red. But I just moved to a new area and know NO-ONE here and I am scared to try some of the local salons--this is such a small town, I don't know how current and up to date the hairdressers are around here. Any advice. I noticed several celebrities that went dark over their blonde and they look great--shiny and rich. I'd do it myself, but I can't even find a redken beauty supply store or armstrong mccalls with Matrix products. Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with fillers. Try posting your question on the message board at http://www.network54.com/Forum/127834

My user name is WAY too long. Just call me Juliana. :-)
