Whats my next step?

Hello, I wrote in about a month ago and asked what to do, and now I have another questions for you experts.

My naturally light brown hair was always highlighted, colored, bleached, etc. When I tried to do it myself I turned it turned a bit orangy, so I tried a dark blond to help, which did a bit, but there was still an orange tint to my roots. Anyway, you guys told me to get a semi permanent ash brown color and I did and it worked great.

Now it has started to fade and my roots are looking orangy again. Not only that, but the ends of my hair had a hint of green. I'm not crazy about ash colors. And, I would like to go a deeper, richer brown color. What should I do? Thank is advance!
