The thing is... I have mediumish brown hair (dyed) and i want super dark brown hair (like ashlee simpson, kinda) w/ the center blue. This is hard 2 explain but i'll do my best. Ok.. when ur straightening ur hair u know how u usually divide ur hair in2 2 layers and put the top one on top of ur head and start w/ the bottom? (sry if i'm confusing u) well, i wanna dye that middle layer blue and get layers so that every soo often u see a blue tint 2 my super dark hair. Am i crazy? I think it sounds so0o cute (the pic in my head is) Does nebody have ne tips on how 2 get my mom 2 go 4 the idea. She thinks it sounds... "interesting" (in her snobby way) "Im only 14, blablabla" but I'm more on the punk side and i just want my hair 2 be different. So... can ne1 w/ this same problem type thingy help me out? Greatly appreciated- thanx!!
I love everyone!!! Ya... even U!!! hehe ;)

lol, yeah, i had the same problem with my mom. i kept pleading with her to dyemy hair, but i always failed.
i don't know if this will work for you, but for awhile i switched to asking her to get my nosed pierced and (of course) my mom said NO. then i appealed to one of my friends above 18 who said he would take me... and freaked my mom out. she conceded that getting my hair dyed a wacky color woud be much better that having a "stud through my perfect nostril" lol.
moral of the story.. try asking for something even more outrageous and hopefully she'll see that she's making a big deal out of nothing. (though i don't know how sane your mother is)
lol thanks. I think that might work, it's just that i just got my belly-button pierced (after begging) and she'd prob. wigg out knowing she just let me do that, but we'll see. again thank you bunches!!
What is her full reason for saying no? Believe it or not, it does matter.
In general, you might get some leverage with the fact that this is probably the last time in your life that you can easily get away with having blue hair. Once you get to an age where you're expected to have a job and look professional, odds are slim to none that funky hair colors will be accepted. Unless your school has a dress code prohibiting it, this is oen of the only times that blue hair is more easily forgiven.

umm ok .... rebelous teens years , been there, still there, trying to get out wait what are we talking about again, i thought she was talking super dark brown hair with blue tiinted highlights.. hmm maybe you should try using those gels that have blue dyes in them, i mean since you have brown hair the colour will show, and since its a gel, you can wash it off if you dont like the look. besides since these type of gels come in many different colours, you can change whenvever you fell like it, and your mother will be assured when the time she has to show her daughter to someone she wants to impress, to show she is a good mother and knows to control her children she will be glad the colour will wash out. try it.
I shall definitely bring those two points up, thank ya dearly ladies. Im not really... rebellious, I just wanna be different. I hate bein like other ppl, in that department ya know? im weird like that. Again, thank ya bunches!
