invisible track??? anygood?

Hello all! i went for a consultation today and the guy said he would do invisible tracks on my hair since its so thin and the bulky traditional braid wouldnt be as good...but he also told me to get handtied instead of machine weft...so if anyone could help me find some good/decent priced hand tied hair i would appreciate it!! I have natural blonde hair that is the color of 613 and i wanted to get an auburn color like 33 or something! thanks!

Invisible track method is where instead of a cornrow, they sew a track of thread in your hair and then sew the hair onto the track of thread. It's great in that it's not that bulky. It's a pain in the rump to take out though because the invisible track they sew in is just a series of knots.

If you want short term thinknesss you could also bond in with Liquid Gold glue. This stuff is easier on the hair than the gooey glue, and lasts longer but it has it's cons too such as it looks gross after a few days.

She said her stylist isn't using the traditional braid so I'm assuming he's using another method.

The horizantal braid is the way normal way sew ins are done, hair attached to a corn row.

I'm curious though how did the thread stay in your hair if it wasn't knotted? it's like sewing but you have to knot each stitch in order for it stay.

Can you explain how yours was done? How was the thread attached?

I'm not sure exactly how she did it but I know she did knot it where she began and ended. During the middle of makeing the track she seemed to twist the thread back and forth but she didn't knot it.... there were two different threads she used but they were always attached to the pole while she created the track.... That's another reason why I don't think she knotted it. Once she got the the end she did have to knot the thread to secure it so she could snip the ends. As for sewing on the track, I know she knotted it at the ends once again but not in the middle area of the track....

Bohyme makes two kinds of wefts, a machine sewn and a hand tied. It's all the same hair just attached to the weft differently.... All you'll notice is the size, the handtied is MUCH thinner than the machine weft. When I had a track done I was sure to get the handtied because it was less visible and didn't feel like it stuck so far out on my head. I would usually have two wefts sewn to each track for about $45-$50 per track (I've heard it can be done for cheaper though). Don't let them rip you off by saying you need tons of tracks put in so they'll make extra $. From the looks of your picture you'll need one, maybe two if you use the Red wine color....
