Can anyone chime in here and help me please, just wondered if when tipping with liquid gold it is essential to use nail glue on the tip, could you just get away with using the liquid gold do you think xxxx

You can use it without the LG. I think the nail glue just helps so the LG tip doesnt adhere to your own hair under the shrinkie or microring. Ill have to re-read some of those posts to remember what the advantages are in using the nail glue over the top of the LG.

I thought it was just to provide a little extra reinforcement so that the tips don't shed. I'm sure it's not an absolute necessity, though. :)

Its not the fact that I'm being lazy but I've not seen anything called Nailene over here in England, I'm a nail extensionist as well as a hair extensionist and I was going to use my fibreglass resin glue which doubles up as a glue but I'm worried in case anything happens when I apply the heat with the shrinkie, don't want someones head go get blown off LOL, any comments xxxxxxx

I asked Kristin about the Nailene awhile ago, and she said the same thing: Any nail glue will do. I usually buy 5-second Nail Glue, or whatever it's called, and she said that would be fine. Good luck! :)
