Hmmm I dont know if hotrollers would make the ends frizz or not? One of us needs to try it. I do have a set of hot rollers I can try out this evening. Yes its sooooo confusing!

What's up with that, anyway? The ends frizzing up? It happens to me with human hair, too, but I'm just wondering with the synth whether there's a way to stop that from happening. With human, I simply use the curling iron to curl the ends under on the bottom so it doesn't look so fried. I know you can blow out the synth to make the ends nice again, but would curling them with rollers do the same thing? I'm so confused....

The only difference I found with the prostyles is that it did take the curl very well from the curling iron as long as the hair was damp (more wet). But the ends dried out.....

OK--for anyone who was following my "Velvet Sleeve" idea for curling irons a few posts down--I'm thinking now it's not going to work with synth.

Much like what Sherrie observed with her Prostyles the other day, I used my curling iron on the Dome hair, and not much happened really. It never actually burned the hair, but I tried curling it (20 seconds max) a few times--with the hair wet and with it dry, with a fabric cover and without--and it did very little as far as curling. I'm starting to think the reason the rollers work is because the hair heats, "sets," and cools in that position, whereas it doesn't with an iron....

On the plus side, the hair blow-dried quite nicely in a matter of seconds.... :)
