yayyyy got my shrinkies this morning!!! So excited cant wait to try them out!!
Im going to buy a weft and the liquid gold glue and try make my own tips so if anyone has any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
For the tips roughly how much hair should be in each one???

Hi Clairey,

Congratulations on getting your order. As far as the size of the tips, Kristin showed an example of hers on pg. 2 of this thread: http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/viewthread.asp?page=2&pagesize=20&forum=AMB_AP934431446&id=1748
and AMM gave an example of hers on this page: http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/viewthread.asp?page=1&pagesize=20&forum=AMB_AP934431446&id=2565

As you can see, AMM's tips look larger than Kristin's, but that should give you an idea of the range. Theoretically, the smaller the tips are, the more you'll need to install, but the smaller size can be particularly useful in high-visibility areas (like the crown). So if I were you, I'd use the AMM size for the bottom, then gradually move toward the Kristin size for the top.

Ultimately, it's really a matter of preference, but I think that's a good general guide.

Thanks!! I know theres a thread somewhere with directions on how to make the tips i just cant find it anywhere..... would you know the link??
