at one time i had synthetic braids,drove me crazy they were really yucky feeling within two washings, without spending a fortune, i want curly (wet wave or deep wave) does synthetic not get all tangly as the cuticle isn't a problem? does that make sense?

Well, I haven't used synth yet, but based on everything I've read, high-quality synth (monofiber) should last at least three months, with proper care.

For a deep wave, I'd recommend looking at the PlastikHaar curl patterns (there are lots of them to choose from) or Dome Wave (not Classic). ProStyles, I imagine, has a similar texture, although you can only get Pro (in the U.S.) if you're licensed.
