I just used the baby oil gel on my curls and I like it a lot. Keeps the curls from swelling and getting that diana ross look.
I've used Carol's daughters but only on my natural hair... I'll have to try it on my weave and see how it works. But so far, I'm thinking this baby oil gel might be a winner.
I think you'll be fine with perming the indianhairs. Just use a good curly perm, I used a cheap one and my curls were more like waves. And the hair started shedding like a pony. I love my NG hair but don't think I'll invest this kind of money again.

I have a whole bunch of straight Indian hair just lined up
waiting to be permed. I have permed the straight many times
and got a real nice curl.
These hand-tied wefts I have can be cut no problem and I did
cut a little of the Nature Girl samples and the whole thing
unraveled. I cut most hand tied wefts, glue and re tie with no
problem, but micro thin hand tied wefts are an absolute no go
as far as cutting.
The product I love the most on the Indian curly hair that stops
the curl from getting too tight and shrinking is Miss Jessie''s
Curly Pudding. I love this stuff but it is really expensive to buy,
$28 bucks a pop. The Curly Buttercreme is $48,and the Curly
Meringue is $28.
Elasta QP mango butter is a must!! It is hard to find sometimes
but you can order online at walgreens if you can't get it in the
stores.
I just got my Oyin Handmade Hair products and about to test
them out on the Indian hair. It takes about 3 weeks to get your
product's delivered fresh made.
Have you tried Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter? I just
placed an order to see how it compares to Miss Jessie's
Buttercreme.
Yeah, the product build up is something you gotta take care of, I
love the NeXXus Aloe Rid Claryifing Shampoo for that or
BodyWealth-Papaya Enzyeme Deep Cleansing Shampoo is
really nice.
I do love the look of the Nature Girl curls but it's alot of cash. I
guess it's worth it if you can keep it for a long time. How long
have you had this one in?

Yup, it's the most beautiful curl. I like it a lot.
It's really curly, You just have to make sure you take the time to wet it and brush it out every night before you sleep on it.
And you have to wash it like once a week and remove all the product you put in or it will start to tangle.
Another thing I like is how small the handmade weft is, it makes it soooo flat. I love that.
What I don't like about the hair, is the price. I looked at my credit card statement and said I'll never do this again, so this hair better last me a long time.
Also sometimes I think it gets too curly. Like in the morning when you wet it and put on the product it's okay, but by the end of the day when it dries it's a head full of curls, they're pretty but sometimes I think it's too much.
I also don't like that you can't cut the wefts because they're handtied so you have to be strategic on how you sew them in. I have 11 wefts in and bought 15.
I think it blends well with my hair. It's not a pefect blend, you know how Halle Berry's weave is almost like perfect? But mine is pretty good.
But I'm not convinced that you couldn't get the same curl with the cheaper indianhairs and using a good curly perm like quantum to achieve close results at a much, much cheaper price.
I think I would try that again before I spend this kind of money on hair again and pray for a good batch of indianhairs.

AfroPuffs~I know you wear Nature Girl hair. Do you wear the 3b by any chance? I have the samples at home, it looks such a beautiful curl. I was just wondering if you had worn this texture before and if it matched well with your hair? The straight sample I have looked a bit to silky to match african american hair. Would love your input....thanks

You know the inconsistancy with human hair is what really bites! Its hard to rate or review hair products/sellers when it all varies so much in quality from batch to batch!
I thought the hair was okay, it's better than BSS hair but it wasn't consistent. My first batch was really good but the second batch shed a lot.
But for the price it's a good choice. I also didn't really care for the texture of the straight hair that much. I was expecting it to be a litte bushy but it was fine like white girls hair and I had trouble blending it in with my own natural kinky hair so I had to put a curly perm in the hair to make it blend.
Wow I just checked out that RK site and their hair is very resonable. The also have pretipped, 25 strands of 22" for $14. If I decide to go back to human I may give them a try. Any reviews on them would be greatly appreciated.
Generally, they tend to get looser rather than wavier, but I haven't used the hair, so I don't know. I do think it's a bit easier to straighten out extensions when they're too curly than add curl to them. :)

Do you think when I wash it, the wave will loosen up a little? I bought a waving iron maybe that would be able to get my hair to be as wavey?
AMM's wave looks amazing, but the photos you posted (the Sara Brightman ones), looked curlier to me, so you might want to go with a deeper wave than the French. (Keep in mind that the waves on sellers' websites are almost always tighter than they'll be after washing).
My feeling is that either one would be a good choice. The Glamourhair is a bit longer; I can't tell the difference in price, though, because there are no ounces listed.
jenny, i was thinking about getting the his and her cuticle french refined since it is wavey, but it only comes up to 22 inches long. I noticed glamour hair has french refined in 24 inch. they both look the same. are they? if not, which is better?

I just looked at that indianhairs.com and it gave me the creeps. I don't know what it was but it just kinda hit me. Maybe it was the photo of the man with shears in his hand smiling like a jackal after whacking off the girl's hair. *shudder*
There hair only comes in one color but because it's virgin remi hair you can color it any color you want. They're in india but they ship to you in less than a week, shipping is 40 bucks.
Some of their hair is inconsistent though. Sometimes you'll get a great bunch and then other times it's not that great.

Well, if you want that Sarah Brightman look, which is quite full, with hair that's about 30 inch, I'd think you'd need about 8 to 10 ounces actually. It seems like a lot, but I think you'd need to order that much to be on the safe side.
I'm not very good at estimating ounces, though, and I've never made clip-ins, so someone else should really weigh in on this. Get a few other opinions before you place your order.
