One month ago, my hair was bright red and with extensions. I got very tired of bright red very fast.
(like I didn't know THAT would happen!)

So, I used a high lift tint that took out the red and put in some synth hair.
Prostyles natural texture #20 #21 and #02.

The pics aren't the best, but you can see what it looks like. My natural hair is shoulder length and layered a bit.
First pic is after being out all day with no brushing.

Ok, thats it, I am going blonde. My hair now is exactly the red you had, SPFX Nuclear red and cherry bomb. What did you use to get it out? Bleach i'm sure, right? I love your new hair!!

No! No bleach! It's amazing.. I used Colorly SSG, it was way too gold so I went over it with SSB.
Hi lift tint, 40 vol. first time, 20 vol the second time.
That red comes RIGHT out. It's kind of an unknown secret. Good that I didn't sit with the SFX under a dryer this time so it was easier.
When I had fuchsia pink hair, it took forever to get rid of and I had salmon ends.

Umm, so you are saying that I can get this SPFX red out with out bleaching??? And just use a hilift blond color instead? I don't get it but then again I am a bit typsy.

Well, I suppose it would depend on how many applications you have on there, if it is over bleach and if you sat under heat to set it.
But definitely try it, it does work.

My red was over lightened but not bleached hair, no dryer and just one app.

We are off topic, am I going to be yelled at?
haha.

Well, I have about a hundred coatings of red, with heat, so bleach it is.

Topic Shmopic. This is over

Oooo, so pretty. It's amazing how tiny those seals at your ears are! Do you really do heat-seals on -yourself-? With no burns?

so natural! that is a thing of beauty! thanks for posting - the thing that is fascinating to me is that the "layers" are pretty inconspicuous and blended ...i guess that is part of the secret!

How do you dye your eyebrows? Does it stay well? LOVE the red and the blonde.

Boogiemama,

You use Prostyles, right? Does it stay in the hair well? I'm set up to take the class in April?

On your website, it says that you sometimes use spirit gum for extra security. Where / how are you applying that?

I'm very tempted to come up there and have you do my hair. My husbands parents live in Mount Vernon, so we could visit them and get my hair done!

Thanks!

RoseRose, I do not dye my eyebrows. When it's red or pink I use lipliner. :)

Metalgirl, Prostyles is great and lasts a long time if cared for and applied properly.
I already emailed you about the other stuff.

You look beautiful and your hair looks very natural. Do you have pinch braids?

Hey, thanks everyone!
The hair gets better as time goes on.

Kimberly, they are not pinchbraids they are heat seals.
I don't like pinchbraids, I feel they are too large of a connection.
