I agree Jenn.. I have problems getting the shrinkies to shrink uniformly.

Edited to say I emailed to request a catalog....We'll see if that ever happens!

There were so many diferent tubes these were the only ones that I found that were small enough had adhesive and I went back and checked they shrink 3 times there size some of the other tubing was expensive but with shipping I got 8 feet for 14.00 How ever I will find some other use for itif it dosn't work my daughter can use it for some crazy craft project. I emailed that company the frist addres they list the yahoo one did not work but the net one did I hope they write back soon I'd love to get my hands on thoughs shrinks

Here is the “MB SHRINK LINKS” next to “DOCS SHRINKIES”




Amm~ All you have to do to remove the Shrink Links is grab 2-3 at a time reheat with the iron, gently pulling the extension hair.....comes right out, slide link right down the hair shaft....comes right out. There is a little residue . MB uses an orange oil to remove the residue….smells awesome!! You just need a few drops, then you comb the residue and it turns flakey white, combs right out.
I think the trainer said it takes about 45 minutes to remove a full head of residue. I haven’t done a client yet so Metalgirl would be able to give the exact time it takes to remove the residue per head. I just love this remover beats anything I’ve used. Well, that may also be because I just love the smell of citrus,orange!! I was told that I could cut the Shrink Links in half for crown and side areas. So I cut some in half to let you see the size next to the original size. Shrinkies are on the far right.

Just a reminder: Some of the generic shrink-tubings are not lined with an adhesive surface. Unless they do contain that adhesive (which for Doc's shrinkies is apparently Keratin glue), they will not stay in the hair. Based on everything I've read, the shrinking pressure is not enough to yield a good hold; there must also be some glue to prevent slipping. :)

I will check out the China front.

Usually, calling is very difficult -- you have a 13-hour time difference for one thing, and then there's the language barrier.

Metalgirl or SAS - How do the MB shrink links come out? Is their residue in the hair?

I feel the same as you bridget, to far. But I think I found the right tubes metalgirl if you could look at this site and tell me what you think? These tubes look thiner and longer. Thanks again, every one here is fantastic!!!!!!
