Finally! I just ordered the Zig-Zag Weft Closure in natural curly. They had been out of stock for a while! Has anyone used this? I hope it matches NG curly hair?

Hey KB,

Unfortunately, I don't know much about this subject. We've had lots of conversations here about closure pieces, and I was seriously looking into installing one awhile back, but I couldn't seem to get much definitive information on them.

Can you tell us a little about them--how you attach them, and how often you need to tighten them? Do they look natural, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of wearing them?

:)

the zig zag weft closure i ordered is monotop . It's 1 3/4 X 2 3/4 inches . The saleslady said it has a thin ribbon around edges it for sewing on. I had planned to put a clip in on it tho, so we'll see. I've never worn a closure piece before either, but I have heard good things about them from other ladies. Most i've seen didn't look natural, and I was hoping this zigzag weft one would be more natural/invisible and blend to give a finished look for natural parting in the top. I as hoping to use the closure and not leaving any of my hair out at all, to avoid blending issues

Thanks KB, I'll be interested to hear how it goes. I've only heard good things about Extensions-Plus, so I'm sure the hair will be top-notch.

One of the few things I did hear about closures is that if you sew them in, you do need to take it off and resew every now and then (not only because of growth, but because oil, shampoo, and dirt can get trapped underneath after awhile). Of course, if you sew it in yourself, the maintenance is probably no big deal, and if you use clips, you could just remove it anytime you want.

Again, thanks for the info.

:)
