I have had waves for like 5 years. It's not really about how much you brush your hair, it's really about how much you waer your du-rag. The du-rag is what really gets your waves to that 360 degree pattern that you would like. What I did to get my waves was just use a little sport n waves grease, and put a durag on. It is best to not even brush your hair after you take your du rag off. Leave it flat so that you will be able to see results quicker. It took me about 3 weeks to get the 360 wave pattern that I have now. So your first step is just to make sure that your hair is high enough to get the 360 pattern, the best hair cut to get when getting waves is called a taper. Your barber should know exactly what that is if he is a black barber. Then just put the sport n waves grease in your hair,and put the du rag on, and sleep with it on your head overnight everyday. You don't have to wear it all day, just make sure that you sleep with it on for fast results.

lol oh i thought you said all of that and u was just askin us what we thougt about it......its all about brushing....how else are u suppose to get the pattern in...
