It is they had her try it out as a wig first them the real cut was to preceed after they decided they liked it. Thats why it looks so bad in that picture.

I`ve said this on the Buffy boards I`ll say it here, I think it`s a wig. I find it hard to believe that her hair was cut almost 2 months ago and the only picture out is the one UPN disclosed. It`s part of a storyline that UPN sent out as a spoiler.

I`m with the emporor`s new clothes people... I don`t think this looks bad exactly, but it`s not particularly great either - an odd between-kinda length, too many colors, and personally I would love to see something besides this super-straight, choppy deal, especially on someone with thick hair (that goes for all you stars...). Layers, bangs, waves, something. So I don`t think it`s horrible, but given the choice, I`d have stayed with long and wavy.

Thankfully, Alison Hanigan has some very cute waves going these days...

Wow, It`s really amazing how thick her hair is. She is very pretty and though I think she is stunning with long hair I really like this change too. Hopefully she will add some long bangs and maybe move her part a little closer to the center.

I just read in the paper that she had it cut two months ago and its grown out some. The paper quoted some fashion expert as saying it looked like it was cut with a weedwacker. Don`t forget January 8,2002 to watch the hair cut on buffy.

SMG looks good with this cut. IMHO, she looks better with the darker hair color she had in Cruel Intentions, tho.

I like the new look. I felt she needed a new style for awhile. Personally, I like the colorand the cut. It looks like it would have a lot of movement to it.

am i really the only one who thinks her hair was really looking great long & wavy, and now it sucks, like she really did cut it herself? without a mirror?

She reminds me of meg ryan lol. I like it on her, I personally don`t like short hair though. I love long hair, especially on guys.
Long, red, slightly wavy hair. Trying to go grow very long! It`s about 3.75in. from my belt now :)

She`s a cute woman and seems to look good in any style, length and color. At one point her hair grew rather quickly, so I`ve often thought that some of SMG`s length was really extensions anyway.

I like both the color and the length. When I first heard she had cut her hair, I was afraid it would be a Felicity style disaster, but luckily she didn`t go too short.

yeah!! thats the LOOK. but to many colors. that takes away from the great cut. its a good length too.

Hey wozziewoo, Its ok to be excited. I doubt she will go much shorter, for Sarah this is short. She is not a short hair fan, other than when she was on soaps her hair has not gone shorter than chin lenght as far as I can remember, so don`t hold your breath you may turn blue in the face before she cuts it short. This hair cut was a well needed trim, not a major style change for her.
